Matthew David McConaughey (born November 4, 1969) is an American actor, producer, and author. He rose to fame in 1990s films (Dazed and Confused, A Time to Kill) and won the Academy Award for Best Actor for Dallas Buyers Club (2013), a period known as the "McConaissance." His memoir Greenlights (2020) became a bestseller. He founded the just keep livin foundation focused on youth wellness.
